Traditional Physical Therapy

We provide a large range of traditional physical therapy treatments help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients with injuries or disease.

We work closely with our clients through examination, evaluation, diagnosis and physical intervention to promote their overall fitness and wellness for healthier and more active lifestyles

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy is a non-invasive, alternative therapy that uses light touches to the patients spine, pelvis, face and skull to locate and release restrictions within the body. This therapy focuses on regulating the flow of cerebrospinal fluid through touch to influence the synarthoridal joints in the cranium. These joints connect bones by fibrous tissue and allows and limits movement.

Every day your body encounters stresses and strains that it must compensate for. These compensations often cause body tissues to tighten and distort the craniosacral system which ultimately cause tension to form around the brain and spinal cord resulting in restrictions. This can create a barrier to the healthy performance of the central nervous system, and potentially every other system it interacts with. The CranioSacral Therapy light touch technique releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.

Visceral Mobilization Therapy

Visceral Mobilization Therapy is a different type of therapy as it does not focus solely on the site of pain or dysfunction, but rather examines the entire body to find the source of the problem. We look and feel for altered or decreased motion within the viscera, and also look for for restrictive patterns throughout the body. The end accomplishment wtih Visceral Mobilization Therapy is to re-establishes the body’s ability to acclimate and restore itself to health.

Visceral Mobilization Therapy assists functional and structural imbalances throughout the body including musculoskeletal, vascular, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, digestive and lymphatic dysfunction. It evaluates and treats the dynamics of motion and suspension in relation to organs, membranes, fascia and ligaments. Therapy will increases one’s communication within the body, rejuvenationg a person and relieving symptoms of pain, dysfunction, and poor posture.

Myofascial Release Therapy

Myofascial release is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. First described by Andrew Taylor Still and his early students,[1] the therapy relaxes contracted muscles, improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulates the stretch reflex in muscles

Myofascial Release is a very effective hands-on soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. It involves applying gentle sustained pressure to release muscular shortness and tightness and eliminate pain and restore motion. Within a few treatments it will improve blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulates the stretch reflex in muscles.

There are a number of conditions and symptoms that myofascial release therapy effectively helps with, including those that have lost flexibility or function following an injury or if experiencing ongoing back, shoulder, hip, or virtually pain in any area containing soft tissue.

Mechanical Link/ ZeroBalancing

Mechanical Link/ Zero Balancing is a body-mind therapy that uses finger pressure and traction on areas of tension in the bones, joints and soft tissue to create a mind body balance which will allow the body to relax and reorganize.
Mechanical Link/ Zero Balancing can help relieve body aches, back pain, reduce movement restrictions, improved sleep, and provide long term relief from emotional stress. This therapy works best in conjunction with medical therapy and is not a substitute for it.

Somatoemetional Release Therapy

SomatoEmotional Release is a therapeutic process that helps rid the mind and body of residual effects of past trauma associated with negative experiences.

SomatoEmotional Therapy uses a holistic mind-body approach to dissipate the residual effects of past trauma and negative emotional experiences from the mind, body, and spirit and to gain insight as to how that held trauma is influencing their physical and emotional health.

The SomatoEmotional Release process requires sensitivity and expertise on the part of the therapist and a positive attitude and trust from the client.

Heart Centered Therapy

Heart Centered Therapy is a very personal experience. It allows the client to look deep inside themselves, reclaim their power and most importanly heal.Through healing meditative state the client is able to focus on the deeper emotional issue without having to relive the trauma. This deep meditative state allows the client to safely transform the emotional component of disease and trauma in the body.

Pelletier Physical Therapy & Treatments

Our treatments use a combination of non-invasive light touch therapies which may include cranioSacral, visceral mobilization, myofascial release, mechanical link or zero balancing to locate and release restrictions within the body. Other treatment may include traditional physical therapy techniques, somatoemotional release, or heart centered therapy.

Combining conventional and integrative techniques for comprehensive treatment and healing

Treatments can:

  • Decrease the stress within the body by decreasing the sympathetic nervous system output which leads to relaxation of body and mind. Increased stress levels can be responsible for disorders such as acid reflux, gallbladder problems, IBS, headaches, fibromyalgia, as well as other DIS-EASES.
  • Locate and release dysfunctions within the body that lead to pain. Pain can be due to new and/or old injuries such as motor vehicle accidents, concussions, sprains and strains.
